MUGA/Food Manager

We have a brand new MUGA pitch which has created exciting opportunities to become part of the team at the Edgworth Cricket and Recreation Club for the right candidate.


We are looking for a Sports Facilities Manager who will manage the MUGA pitch and the associated food offering expansion of our business. A majority of the hours you work will be customer facing, serving hot drinks and food primarily from our outside BBQ area which you will be staffing alone. There is also the managing and administration aspect of the job role which you will also be in charge of.


The successful candidate will manage the MUGA pitch and the running of the food offering, undertaking duties such as;

  1. Be fully responsible for the purchasing, accounting and sale of all supplies necessary so we can offer hot food and coffee to hiree's of the MUGA pitch and customers in general

  2. Maintain the MUGA pitch and BBQ area to high standard

  3. Be a key-holder for the Club, and available to open the Club on weekend mornings;

  4. Responsible for the taking and making of bookings and collecting monies and rents in connection with the hire of the MUGA pitch;

  5. Managing and liaising with customers and clients to ascertain their precise booking requirements and ensuring delivery of successful bookings;

  6. Recording and invoicing for MUGA bookings, including chasing overdue payments and pursuing any necessary debt recovery;

  7. Identifying and promoting further opportunities for new MUGA bookings or events related to the use of the pitch

  8. Producing reports and updates on relevant figures and information, and any issues to Club Committee or its nominated officers as required.

Hourly, paid weekly (Wage dependant on experience)




Monday to Friday




Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Catering: 1 year (preferred)

Sport Facility Management: 1 year (preferred)



Level 2 Award in Food Safety & Hygiene (essential)

A qualification in First Aid (preferred)


Shift availability:

Morning shift from 8.30am

Day shift 

Evening shift up to 10pm
