Tavs' Menorca Tour 2022

Courtesy of Colin Barker who 18 years ago, played for Menorca Cricket Club, the Edgworth Taverners were invited over for a weekend of cricket over the May bank holiday. Consisting of a 40 over match on the Saturday (followed by a spectacular BBQ being provided by the hosts) and a 20/20 match on the Sunday. Much fun was had by all with international cricketing relations firmly being established with both teams agreeing it should become a regular annual fixture.

Rumour has it that the Menorcan government are in the process of thanking the Edgworth Taverners for significantly increasing the national GDP through their unwavering commitment to investment in the local hospitality establishments. Well done lads!
