Groundwork Update

The groundwork company J Pugh-Lewis will be back in the new year to install the remaining drains and roll the outfield.

We anticipate areas will require turfing but the grass has taken well in the top corner of the field. The large amount of sitting water on the field recently was partly caused by a burst spring at the top of the ground. This is being fixed. Also with the old drains removed but most of the new drains not installed, there has been nowhere for the water to go.

Whilst we can play the first few matches away from home at alternative grounds, we will make sure there is cricket back at Edgworth in May.
