Its almost the start of a new season at Edgworth Cricket and Recreation Club and we begin our fight to regain premier league status. I look forward to seeing you out to support our teams and enjoy a drink and chat with friends. Please remember ECRC are pleased to welcome Non- Members as well as Members. The advantage to members though, is that they enjoy discounted bar rates, ask staff for details.
Cricket features most days, with either Seniors or Tavs or Juniors playing or coaching. Friday night family night returns soon with the BBQ back after junior coaching. Everyone is welcome. There is also a program of events throughout the year, the next main on being the Mini Beer Fest at the end of May.
As most people know the club is non-profit making, run mainly by volunteers for the good of the community. This year we are focusing heavily on junior cricket with significant investment in a new Bowling machine / New All Weather pitches / Dedicated Junior Coach / Heavily discounted fee package for Winter / Summer nets etc. . . .
The club is also not just about Cricket, we have many other recreational activities such as Pool, Darts, Poker Night, Quizzes and many social functions which are extremely popular, such as Cheese and Wine night, Curry and Comedian, Mini Beer Festival etc. Please see our website or noticeboards for details.
The Clubhouse is also available for small functions (up to around 75 people), and if a Non member wants to book a function, we throw in free membership until the end of the current membership year! Feel free to see Dan Fyans (Bar Manager) or one of his team about this.
