Simon is a new recruit who last played – and was far from overshadowed by – a catalogue of great professional players, such as Brad Hodge, at Ramsbottom.  He is now returning to the game after a brief absence brought about by a young family.  Despite this absence, his ability appears undiminished, and his uncomplicated style should ensure he is quickly back into the habit of scoring runs.  A clean striker of the ball, and an aggressive runner between the wicket, Simon should prove to be a crucial addition to our middle order, where Edgworth will now have 3 left handers. 

Simon regularly scored a hat full  of runs for Ramsbottom, and there is no reason why he can’t recreate that sort of form for Edgworth.
