Jon Partington, Age 47, Wicketkeeper,
Left Hand Batsman JP has made an enormous
impact over the past three seasons with bat, gloves and
tracksuit. He has done as much as anyone to develop the
winning mentality in the first team, and has produced a
number of decisive individual contributions. His
glovework is neat and tidy, his batting unorthodox and
spectacular – he has the ability to change the course of
a game in a flash. He is consistent too, scoring around
400 runs in his last couple of seasons. As Club Coach,
he has helped develop a number of junior players who are
now challenging for first team positions, and his
painstaking efforts on a Friday night are hugely
appreciated by everyone at the club.
